August 8, 2015 (BOLPUR): Some of the artists of the Eastern Artists Alliance, a collaborative imprint of Jackson Records Digital Entertainment LLP, reached Bolpur Shantiniketan, the soil of Kabi Guru Rabindranath Tagore, on the anniversary of his heavenly abode (22nd Shravan), to pay tribute to his soul. The meet was unofficial but fruitful and true to its essence with children from the local community in a corner of Bolpur along with small performances by the participating artists. The event has been more of a hangout of like-minded people with a common passion for art and literature. Away from the sophistication of the city auditoriums, the performers adapted with the culture of the soil, being grounded and with only one priority – Tagore.
